The stations are manned by 4 full time employees and over 40 trained volunteer firefighters who are from various backgrounds from farmers to executives. The Fire District has 3 Command vehicles, 2 engines, 3 water tenders, 3 light brush trucks, 3 heavy brush trucks, 1 ladder truck, 1 extrication/rescue truck, 1 UTV, and 1 Rescue raft.
Gem County Fire-EMS has a total of 5 ambulances and one Command Vehicle, 4 ambulances are stationed at station #4 in Emmett and 1 is stationed in the Sweet area.
